Sports Councillors

Our Sports Councillors for 2022-23 are:

Reception - Rupert

Year 1 - Mia May

Year 2 - Hattie

Year 3 - George

Year 4 - James

Year 5 – Amelia and Sophie

Year 6 - Ellie and Harlow 

Our year 5 councillors also represent Richard Durnings on the West Lancashire Sports Council linking with other councillors from West Lancashire. They meet once a term online via Zoom. 

So far this year the Sports Council have decided on these main aspects:

• Restart Playground Leaders. 
  • This has been completed with all children in years 5 and 6 and every week they take turns leading a variety of playground games. 
• Develop the Sports Section on the school website
  • This is being completed and we add photos of new events and activities
• Produce a sports newsletter showing our achievements over the year
• Write a sports questionnaire to see views on our current sports and physical activity provision
